Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Pocket Bloom app for iPhone ("the app") and this website. The app is published by Michael Serra ("we", "us"). These terms apply alongside Apple's standard EULA when you use the app.
Your licence
The app is licensed to you, not sold. Your licence is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple's standard EULA), and these terms add to it. If the two conflict, Apple's EULA applies. We own the app and its puzzles, art, sound and other content, apart from parts licensed from others, such as Google's advertising software. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment as Apple's EULA allows.
The game
Pocket Bloom is free to download and play. Every level can be played without paying and without watching an ad. The app runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later. We may update the app, change its features or content, or stop offering it.
Seeds and decorations
Seeds are a virtual item you earn by playing: by completing levels and the Daily Challenge, and through the daily bonus. You can spend them on decorations for your scenes. Seeds and decorations:
- have no cash or monetary value;
- cannot be bought with real money (the only purchase in the app is Ad-Free Forever);
- may not be sold, traded or transferred to another person, or exchanged for money or anything else (restoring your own device backup is fine);
- are not refundable, including after you reset progress or delete the app;
- exist only in the app's data on your device.
They are a limited right to use a feature of the game, not property you own. We may change how Seeds are earned or what they can be spent on in future versions.
Ad-Free Forever
The only purchase in the app is Ad-Free Forever, a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase. The App Store and the app's Shop show its price in your local currency before you buy. It removes all ads from the app and makes the daily bonus free to claim: you get the same up to three claims a day, with no video to watch.
The purchase belongs to your Apple Account. To get it back on another iPhone, or after reinstalling, use Restore Purchases in the Shop or Restore purchases in Settings while signed in with the same Apple Account. Restoring brings back Ad-Free only, not game progress. If a purchase is waiting for approval (Ask to Buy or bank verification), Ad-Free unlocks when Apple approves it.
Payments and refunds
Apple sells and processes all purchases under its own terms. We can't take payments, and we can't issue refunds. To ask for a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem site. If Apple refunds or revokes the purchase, Ad-Free is removed from the app the next time it checks with the App Store, and ads can appear again. You can buy it again at any time. Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.
Ads
If you don't own Ad-Free Forever, the app can show ads from Google, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Watching an ad is never required to progress. We don't choose individual ads. If you see one that is inappropriate, report it from Settings › Privacy choices… › Report an inappropriate ad.
Your progress
Your progress, Seeds and decorations are stored only on your device. There is no account, cloud save or syncing between devices, and we have no copy, so we can't recover, restore or transfer progress. You can lose it if you delete the app, reset progress, lose or replace your iPhone without restoring a backup, or if the saved data becomes unreadable. Ad-Free Forever is not lost this way: you can restore it from the App Store.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the app or its content;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with or manipulate the ads, for example by generating fake views or taps, or by using automated tools to collect rewards;
- use the app in any way that breaks the law.
Other companies' services
Apple (the App Store and in-app purchases) and Google (ads and the ad consent form) provide their services under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for those services.
Disclaimers
We work to make Pocket Bloom reliable and enjoyable, but the app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms and Apple's EULA. In particular, we don't promise that the app will be free of errors, always available, or that your progress will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for the loss of progress, Seeds or decorations. To the same extent, our total liability to you for anything related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Ad-Free Forever. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the app or these terms will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it in your local courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the place where you live, and nothing in this section takes that away.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply. If you don't agree with them, you can stop using the app and delete it.
